First time at the new location in Time Plaza. I was worried that the food would lose something in the fancier digs. Not to worry. It was still excellent!

My husband likes the Jefe Margarita (I think that's the name).

I prefer a Bloody Mary. No vegetables in this one, but the taste was very good.

Coctel Camaron - Very similar to ceviche, but the server said the difference is that there is some ketchup in this sauce, which sweetens it a lot. I know the use of ketchup will make some people turn their nose up at this, but I have to tell you, I LOVE the flavor of this dish. I get it every time I go. You can't tell, but there is a generous number of shrimp.

Close up:

The little tacos are 1.95 each! And packed with flavor. I always get the cochinita (pork, pickled carrots)

And the al carbon is also delicious!

Tried something new this time, a pupusa. This one has pork and cheese inside. There is a pickled slaw and a sauce that you top it with.

Close up:

Confession: I took more than half of the food home in a to go box. I shouldn't have eaten any chips and salsa.

My husband loved his El Gordo Burrito, but it wasn't photogenic. It was topped with iceberg lettuce and some tomatoes and olives and jalapenos. You couldn't see the burrito.

My rating: Still a favorite in Laffy!

Didn't know you were in Lafayette too. Only been there once for lunch but enjoyed it. I need to go back

If you like the shrimp ceviche at Pamplona, know that it also has a lot of ketchup in it.

I have tried to replicate this at home, but there was just something missing. Now I know it's ketchup!

About the upside down pictures. I'm uploading from my phone. Actually, I've started emailing them to myself to upload to photobucket because I thought I was having MORE problems uploading from phone to photobucket app.

I seem to be having problems both ways, but the upside down photos seem to show up more on phones or iPads.

Im on my phone and theyre upaide down. Are you taking these pics with an iPhone? I think it may have something to do with iOS. If you take a pic close to parallel to the ground iPhones have a problem with orientation of the pic sometimes. I would be interested to see if android users see these pics upside down as well.
