Thank you. Now I know hwy I've been seeing these facebook posts all day. I had no idea this place was on tv. I just thought it was a restaurant having a PR meltdown. I'm watching this now and these two people are crazy, and that's being kind.

The more I watch this the more I am amazed that that these two people have the intelligence to even fill out the paperwork for permits to open up a restaurant.

This is the first topic I seen cross three boards and make sense in all three.

Food, TV, OT

The OT thread is great on this.

I spent an hour looking at their facebook and yelp reviews.

The episode needs to be watched. It's on Cox demand and online.

Watch. Trust me.

Oceana or Zeke's.

Oceana improved a lot and it's decent for a tourist trap place. Legit Crabcakes and Gumbo.

That's wild! "God's children" have a funny way of showing that.

after I watched the crazy couple episode, I watched the Nashville Cajun restaurant episode. Chappy's was the name of it. They moved to nashville after losing everything during Katrina when they lived on the MS gulf coast. I think the chef has some sort of PTS and isn't really into it anymore.

no

chappy almost went under because he changed his menu per ramsey's 'advice' to add hamburgers & shite..i cant remember the specifics

his business tanked.

he said 'frick ramsey' and went back to his original menu but caused himself some pretty big damage by switching to a more bland fare among his customers.

i drive by his restaurant every day and he's still there so he's slowly repairing the damage to his reputation by blindly following ramsey's advice.

Now, they claim their FB page and Twitter were hacked and they've called in the FBI and sheriff's dept. They claim they didn't make those posts on the FB page. She apparently made some similar posts in 2010 when someone gave the place a bad review on Yelp, though, and that made the news, too. These folks are nutzo.
