It's one thing for the rant to extrapolate and exaggerate; that's what we do.... It's a whole 'nother thing when the best coaches in the nation offer a 14 year old kid; he is a very special player.

quote:Agreed. When they scrimmage Zachary maybe we will get to really get see him play against kids his equal. Not someone he is 4 years older than and 100 pounds heavier than. IMO nothing he's done so far has been impressive. Hype is not earned against 10 year olds. I know his dad and Brumfield dad are on here, but neither of them can be unbiased as to what there kids can really do. I've seen Brumfield develop over time. Brumfield has always been one of the youngest kids on the field, but from what I understand the Moses kid has always been one of the oldest kids on the field. If he's not 15 already he will be very soon. 15 year old vs 10-12 year olds is suppose look like his film. I know yall will attack me as usual for speaking the truth so go ahead and start.
Put me up against someone I outweigh more than 100 pounds and I'll have the same video. Funny but certainly not impressive.

I guess Les Miles and Nick Saban disagree with you.

Actually kets see how he fares against PBS and TC
It's not like Zachary is a bastion of football
Granted the competition he faced vs PBS and will face in the future will be vastly different from what he faced in the majority of the clip...
He looked pretty good against PBS and vs st, A.

And a bright guy like you just can't figure out who that may be, huh?

Hopefully, he continues to develop and makes a good recruit. It's just funny so many take his 8th grade talents and extrapolate them 5 years down the road.
I understand what you're saying, but I'm pretty sure Dylan and Jrevonte understand that very well.
I seriously doubt Dylan revels too much in his Junior high successes and is far more focused on being great to play at LSU, Alabama, or whatever school he chooses and then the NFL.
He's getting attention, but its never a guarantee for future success. This is a fact of life for anyone in any field or practice.

I don't have much first hand (ok, second hand from my kids) feedback on Dylan due to age differences, but know for a fact that Garrett is a very bright, and very humble young man (and apparently funny as heck). From everything I've seen his Dad post, I've little doubt I'll get the same review on Dylan (mine just made it to Spring practice this week due to baseball). Hopefully the Dad's paths will cross Friday night!

Might be the next Bo Jackson.
More like Earl Campbell or Marcus Dupree. Bo was special because he was incredible at both baseball and football. As far as I know Dylan isn't a top prospect in baseball but who knows?

I absolutely agree with you on this point. Especially in the area of sports. A player is never more than one play away from losing everything in their chosen game.

man, people laugh about that play but that kid has a pair of nutts on him....i like him. he attacked Dylan knowing that he was up against the odds. i would love to watch him come up through the ranks as well!!!
No I think all his teammates decided they were going to block someone else all of a sudden and this kid became the odd man out. I'm sure he thanked his buddies after the game lol.

It's about taking a kid with rare size and ability at such a young age and watching his growth into a greater player at other levels.
What did you expect the colleges to when a kid like Dylan comes along especially from a football family? Do you want them to go find kids of the opposite?

No doubt that Dylan Moses is an amazing talent. I hope he is a tiger.
On a related note, the kid at the 2:05 make really went in flight. As impressed as I was with Dylan Moses, I was equally impressed that the little kid got up after going airborne. Way to show some guts!
