She was a little over 14 years old and as loving as she was stubborn. A great dog that we adopted when she just was just three.

Thursday, she was diagnosed with bone cancer that spread into her lungs...moving around was tough, even with heavy medication.

I didn't think it was going to be this tough...

At least she made a good run brotha. 14 years is longer than most labs. At least she's pain free in heaven now

Putting your padna down is one of the worst feelings ever. I'd imagine the only thing worse would be losing an actual child. Sorry to hear.

Oh yeah, cancer. It took my last dog away from me as well

Sucks man. I lost my yellow back in Dec. She died before we had to make that decision.

sorry to hear man...My 14y.o. yellow is suffering a little from Arthritis in her front wrists...will be putting her on a regime of Novox on/off to make her comfortable...other than the arthritis she's pretty healthy, but know Labs don't live too much longer...she was our Kid when we thought we couldn't have any...so when her time has come I will be a fricking basket case...prayers go out to you...
