He is obviously talented to be getting all of his offers but I have been watching him since middle school and I agree he has all the tools to be an elite quarterback. My number #1 issue with him is his toughness. Personally I don't think he is tough enough to play in the SEC. That is clearly the big boys league of college football and I just don't see him in that light. He also plays basketball which I know has nothing to do with his football skills but he is extremely soft on the court and have seen this first hand since he was in the 7th grade. Best of luck to Brandon and hopefully he ends up at an SEC school just not LSU

Wrong answer. I saw him take several shots and never miss a beat or come out of a game. Not sure what you are referring to.

LEAGUECITY TIGER

I will give you your due. Even though I personally never questioned you claims because you were obviously closer to the situation than everyone but there were a bunch of clowns ganging up on you. Some of them even went as far as to say you new absolutely nothing and should stay away from Brandon. Well you were right and all of the know it alls were completely wrong. Brandon Harris could commit to Alabama if he wanted to and within a week of getting a Bama offer he all of a sudden got a LSU offer. All without going to camp. Exactly how you said it would or should happen. It just goes to show you the guys who post the most on here or give the impression of knowing so much don't actually know anything. It is kind of funny to see them post with so much confidence though.

well I guess football toughness and basketball toughness don't go hand in hand. I guess he just doesn't live close enough to the tracks

I'm still reading, League, but you fail to realize that you have just as much back tracking to do as I do.

Read your OP. Bama is smart enough to realize he doesn't need to camp for an offer? You continually stated that LSU wouldn't go to spring practice to evaluate Brandon, that LSU was just trying to get $400 from him for camp. Well, you were dead wrong. LSU went to watch him throw and re-evaluated their stance.

How about next time, you just report the news instead of editorializing about how dumb our coaching staff is? This wouldn't have been a 9 page shite show without you slamming LSU's evaluation process, which you were clearly in the wrong about.

A simple I was wrong and you were right would suffice.

I wasn't slamming LSU's evaluation and at what point did I say the LSU coaching staff was DUMB? Not only are you editorializing you are SENSATIONALIZING.

LSU just happened to be the ONE school that had not offered Brandon without the stipulation that he go to camp. Then I read countless points bashing my kid on why he isn't going to LSU'S CAMP. What would you do if it were your son or player? I was defending his decision bottomline.

It's OK to be wrong hoss.

The $400 remark was off-the cuff and was probably the wrong thing to say but I was dead right on everything else and I am of the absolute firm belief that LSU's decision was reactionary to Bama coming in and offering with no strings attached. If Bama doesn't do that, LSU wouldn't have re-evaluated IMHO. With that being said, Cameron was a great guy. He is going to be VERY, VERY good for LSU.

- are you from League City and now live in Bossier?

- if you answered earlier I apologize, but in general terms, what is your connection?

I think part of the issue with reactions to your posts in the past is because, if I recall correctly, you are big anti-Miles...

Okay, hoss. Just because you went back and edited/deleted your posts bashing LSU doesn't give you any high ground. Your $400 comment was just one in a series of silly and inaccurate comments regarding LSU's evaluation process, and now you want to come here after editing a bunch of posts and say TOLD YOU SO!! Get real man.

If you're so emotionally invested in a kid's recruitment that you feel like you need to defend him on message boards, then you probably shouldn't be posting. I have some news for you - we're lsu fans here so naturally we want to see a kid want to come to camp to earn an offer. What exactly is your purpose in "defending him" here? No one was bashing Harris, people wanted to see a willingness to come compete. Now he has a legit offer and I for one am happy to see it - it was earned.

No...no, you weren't dead right on anything at all except that he got an offer from Bama. You stated - and not just once, repeatedly - that LSU wasn't going to go check him out at SPRING PRACTICE. If you really think that LSU was not going to make any time during the SPRING evaluation period to go watch the top QB in the state throw, then I truly feel sorry for you. If you really believe that LSU makes its recruiting decisions only reflexively after Alabama does, then I feel sorry for you. Must be hard to be a fan of a program for which you have such low regard.

I'm man enough to admit where I am wrong and not go back and edit a bunch of posts, and I was wrong about his offer from Alabama. Why aren't you man enough to admit you were wrong?
