The knife thread yesterday reminded me of the knife the wife got me.

I had thrown this thing on a back shelf and rediscovered it yesterday.

What do yall think? It is a Ka-bar, which I have always wanted, but it has that stupid zombie green shite all over it. It also has a rubber handle instead of stacked leather. I would exchange it but she had my name engraved on the blade.

Cut the patch off the scabbard and use it. Hi vis handle makes it easy to find when dropped or laid down somewhere. IWCI

ETA after gutting a few animals the handle won't be so bright either.

I like the grip, but you can always wrap it in athletic/gauze tape or one layer of tennis grip

I suppose either way it will be good for sticking pigs.

Brown or Red handles are made for the pigs, I honestly don't think yours will work

I have one like it, except its not a zombie edition. I love it.

No shame in that pigsticker Purp. Like others have said, scrap the patch and use the neon green to your advantage (when you inevitably leave it laying somewhere).

My wife says she'll take it. She wants a Zombie Survival arsenal for mother's day.

It's ugly, but it might still work.

it's destined to be a classic.

In 50 years someone on Amercian Pickers will be offering big bucks for it.

KABARs are the shite, and like others have said you have one that you won't lose when you lay it down in brown leaves.

Good point. I've lost several knives this way.

I spent a good half hour looking for mine once, I've lost countless cheap knives and just said eff it.

Boom.

I think it's a sick knife. And I didn't even think of this. I bet that grip will really help you out one day.
