OK, you are a hot shot running back in high school this year, one of the best in the state, and
bleed purple and gold. But LSU has its eyes on LF
next year and tells you sorry, but we're not recruiting running backs. No scholarship. Knowing your personality, do you......
A. Walk on at LSU
B. Attend a lame local directional school
C. Take the scholly at another SEC school and look for payback
D. Take the scholly at another BCS conference school
E. Drop football

if you're the best rb in the state, you're getting an offer from lsu.

if you're not the best rb in the state, don't be as shitty at sports.

C. Best player =/= Smartest player

ETA. If your good enough, you'll earn an LSU scholly though

If you were the best running back in the state, then LSU would offer you. They may not try and heavily recruit you, but they would find a way to make it work.

Ignoring some of the artificialities of the scenario, C or D are the only answers here. I mean, come on. Football players want to play football.

I may go to another conference to attend an Oregon, Oklahoma, Ohio State, or USC. Probably stay close to home if one of our top 5 were offering.

C. I go to that other school and try to make LSU regret not offering me a scholarship.

C: But not for revenge, just to play SEC
D: If I was the best, then it would have to be a legit BCS school, not New Mexico State.

I would go elsewhere. I wouldn't be vengeful as Fournette is the #1 player in America. LSU had to go with him. Also, I'm not looking to sit behind him. I'd go to Georgia or SC do I'd be at the best place in the SEC that didn't have to play LSU every year.

Would you take a job without getting paid if someone was offering a paying job?

They will take backs next year. Then I'm in and living the dream.
Just had to wait for it.

I'd work a deal with Les where I secretly commit and he holds a a scholly for me but publicly I renounce LSU, then spend the rest of my time until signing day making Bama and Auburn and A&M waste their time trying to get me. Then on signing day wait until LF has faxed in his paperwork before faxing mine in.

I'd jump at the chance to attend the University of Georgia. Major program, great city, great campus, great education and rarely play LSU.
