Carlitos Way-genius. Loved it. Pacino was brilliant and I loved the last 15 minutes. Penn was great as well. Can't believe I waited this long to see it

Donny Darko- still don't know what to think. Weird as shite and it wasn't awful, I just don't know if I think it's the greatest movie ever like some people on here think. Let me watch it again. I liked the characters and the tone.

Thoughts?

Donnie Dario is great. To this day no one really knows what it is about and it is still debated

Sean Penn did the best acting in CW.

Darko needs a rewatch for me

I enjoyed both of those movies. I thought Penn was really strong in Carlito's Way

GOAT Gyllenhaal movie, and one of my favorite movies ever.

Soundtrack is unbelievable too.

Came out of cinema from Carlito's Way pumped and still a favorite of mine.

Would like to give Darko another run but it was too painful the first time so doubt it.

Don't know that I've seen all of carlito's way, but DD is a great flick. Not the best movie ever. In fact, it fails on many fronts. You really need the Director's Comments and the website to pick up what the writer is really dropping. It's actually more superhero movie than many think.

A movie with a plane crash being the central theme is not a movie I'd want to see on a plane.

ehh, i think this is more of just a means to justify the ends of the time-space theme.

All while eating dinner at the dinner table and followed shortly thereafter by the little sister asking: "What's a frickass?"
