Tacos. Instead of having lettuce, tomatos, and cheese as toppings, I used finely chopped onion, celantro, and taco sauce. Mighty good.

I don't watch the NFL draft. It's like watching grass grow.

Menu tonight:

Chicken Salad for sammiches
Steamed Green Beans and Butter
Chinese takie outie after golfing today.
Corn Bread and butter
Fried Catfish from yesterday.
Rice and Gravy.

Lucy loved the chopped beef I made yesterday but had to use the leftovers for Good Dog. He won't eat his arthritis medicine unless it's crushed into chopped beef. It's something called Glutomas Condroiten.

Almost like a cookie, but lighter and airy. Made from extra sharp cheddar, parmesan, red pepper flakes and other stuff. Baked in the oven. They are not crispy, more crumbly. Soooo good with a green apple.

This is not her recipe, but somewhat similar

I am thinking about coaching my son's t-ball team next year, and following him up through pitching machine. I will quit after he makes it through pitching machine ball. I don't want all the parent drama!

I have a cheese straw addiction. I like them in cookie form, though, with rice crispies mixed into the dough that makes them really crispy. Extra cayenne.

Teeball...so cute for the first few games and then excruciatingly painful to get through the next few years until pitching starts. That's when it gets fun (except for the parents-some of them need to be banned from the ballparks).

Having gumbo.
