Ah okay, that changes things. I've done it. Used to do it when duck hunting all of the time. Wouldn't be too worried about it if you are parked far enough off of the road. That basically means as far as you can get, be it under an overpass or up in the trees

Flat boats are hard as hell to paddle. Get a small engine(go devil or outboard) that is easy to move around and can be carried. If you want to paddle, get a pirogue, but the trade off with that is fishability


Only thing I ask is next time you see a yacker, tip their boat over, point, and laugh.
