I'm sure it is old news but man Shaq was quick when he was younger
2 consecutive free throws

I don't know when people started massively underrating shaq. Probably when he started changing teams every year and people compared him to Dwight Howard.

im no shaq fan... but to compare dwight to him is an insult to shaq in so many ways

That little dreamshake he did in there was nice.

I would not say underrated, but in a sense he gets lost in the plethora of historically great centers.
Kareem, Wilt, Hakeem, Russell, Shaq. shite, half of the ten players of all time could be centers.

Well, to be fair, Dwight was trending to that, made a finals, was dominant.
Now he's a big puss

Scary to think that as good as Shaq was with the Magic, he was even more dominate with the Lakers.

You would have a hard time finding a bigger Shaq fan than me. I still think he was the best C of all time, but I am definitely in the minority. I will say this though, if he had the work ethic of a Jordan or Kobe, he would have gone down as a top 3 player of all time. So much natural talent, but he relied to heavily on it. If he stayed at his first 3 NBA years weight, the injuries wouldn't have piled up as much either.

The only player you can make an argument to take over Shaq in his prime is MJ, and I would still probably take Shaq.
