Get off your high horse.
quote:the thread will go on. we're just taking a break to argue for a bit
And now you have all ruined this one.

had they said who he was in the show yet? if not, it's a spoiler
It was HBO's own "gametime" interactive feature that plays DURING THE EPISODE.
And to put it into even clearer context, it was in response to them ripping a non-reader's arse (ladytiger) who had watched the show on HBOGo with the interactive feature and saw that same thing.
Very much show info.

Let's just be honest, we'd all be a little bit bored if we didn't have the chance to entertain ourselves with arguing intermittently.

quote:again, with any other show, that helpful comment may have been appreciated but not this one and they made themselves perfectly clear about that.
When in the Vale talking to Lyssa she talks of her father and Brynden. So if someone paid extra close attention to her having a brother named Brynden they could deduce that Blackfish was Brynden.

Yeah, I tried this for a while and was told they didn't want my help. I'm fine with that and now don't post there at all. A question to ask yourself: Why should I get myself worked up about such trivial stuff anyway?

I was joking though, I did sound misogynist.
I listen to everything in the show and watch them a few times.
I read that thread but don't post. (except two images)

It's better than the poliboard for sure.
At least there are no real ramifications if you pick the wrong side.
I wonder how many of them pick up the books?
I also wonder why cokes, who seems very smart, refuses to look at ASOIAF and TWD as literature?
Just pick up the audiobooks at least, I think he would enjoy it.

And I'm not. I just wonder why you are still fighting it.

We're really getting into petty semantics at this point. You could've easily read the credits and saw his name. The fact that his name is being treated as a "spoiler" is just people bitching to bitch.
I wasn't talking about you.

False, the only reason I come into this thread is hoping people pick up little details that I missed while watching the show in sub-optimal quality.
I also like discussing the casting and talking about how characters fit our depiction of the characters and how events that deviate from the book work or don't work. This constant bitching between the threads is terrible workplace reading.
The only arguing we should be having should be arguments like last week when we were discussing whether Cat's speech to Talisa was indeed a character assassination and such like that.
Oh and major props to those HBO extras posted earlier. Those were great and loved hearing the voiceovers. Surprisingly, Viserys and Mormont did an outstanding job with the narration.

Sisyphus while living or in the afterlife?
The former, you are being chronically deceitful. The latter, well, keep pushing that boulder.

More of the latter, but I won't deny the former
