Anyone else think this show was fricking great?
It still saddens me that they stopped making it.

Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown, hosted by the world-renowned chef, bestselling author and Emmy winning television personality, premieres on Sunday, April 14, at 9pm, ET.
The one-hour weekend lifestyle series follows Bourdain as he travels the across the globe to uncover little-known areas of the world and celebrate diverse cultures by exploring food and dining rituals. Known for his curiosity, candor, and acerbic wit, Bourdain takes viewers off the beaten path of tourist destinations – including some war-torn parts of the world – and meets with a variety of local citizens to offer a window into their lifestyles, and occasionally communes with an internationally lauded chef on his journeys.
The premiere episode of the Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown offers an inside look at Myanmar. In his maiden voyage to the country formerly known as Burma, Bourdain and his crew discover the fabled beauty and local cuisines of a country that had been, up until recently, off-limits to outsiders. Future episodes include tours of Libya, Colombia, the Quebecois side of Canada, Koreatown in Los Angeles, Tangier, Peru and the Congo.
Following original episodes of Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown on Sunday nights at 9pm, encores will on Friday nights at 11pm, Saturday nights at 9pm, and Sunday nights at 8pm. (all times Eastern)

the Quebecois side of Canada
I wouldn't exactly call Quebec and Montreal parts unknown but, being from there, I'm definitely interested to see what he'll eat/see. Hopefully it's different than what he did for No Reservations.

Supposedly, According to his AMA on reddit, he has more control over this one

Bourdain is a huge douchebag, but I actually enjoy the show. He's a good writer.

I've been cycling through the volumes of DVD's recently. Every show is money. Even ones I think I'm not gonna like, he ends up selling me on the locale.

See, I think the food and locales are the show, not guys like he and Zimmern. The only locales I didn't like were in Africa. I just never saw anything I wanted to eat in any of the African locations. They ate dirt in one of the Zimmern episodes.

I think it was the Namibia episode where Bourdain is finally brought to his breaking point when he had to eat that warthog that hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. I always think about that scene when I want to suppress my appetite.

His best one was Louisiana. When he took part in the Butchering of the Pig, in La Platte I think?
I have that episode on DVR and watch it every now and then.

I dont think his guest spot on Archer was too much of a reach for him

He kinda seems to take himself too seriously at times and can be a bit cheesy, but his show is very interesting and he does seem knowledgeable.

I like whatever show he's on.Dude knows how to enjoy himself. He samples a little bit of everything a place has to offer.
eta:I've seen a few episodes of No Reservations where he looked a little disinterested and seemed like he'd rather be somewhere else.
They basically handed him a charred warthog rectum to eat.
