An admin is probably going to anchor your thread. They like at least 3 words in the titles. FYI.

Yes. It's OK. Good group dinner since you're typically eating communally, so to speak. Generally somewhat spicy. A lot of lentil based dishes.

Was in Boston bout year ago and ate at a Ethopian place. Really good.
Ate a variety of things server on a flat bread round. We all just dug in with hands, tearing bread and eating.
I enjoyed and would definitely do again.

Ethiopian food is not for everyone but I enjoy it. Some is quite spicy while other dishes not so much.
We have one restaurant here in Tampa that I like and my kids have a blast as you eat with your hands as there are no utensils...

Not bad. I liked some stuff better than others. Most places will offer a sampler type dish. It's basically several piles of stuff served over a large flat bread that you tear up and use to scoop food with.

They're kind of stringy, I think they run too much.

You all did it wrong. Someone was supposed to say "ive never eaten ethiopian food".
Then, someone else was supposed to say, "neither have ethiopians". Dum dum chhh

I had some Ethiopian food in Denver a few years ago. It was pretty good. A few months after that, a foodie friend of mine had a birthday party where she cooked up all kinds of Ethiopian dishes. Think she used Bisquick of all things to make the bread.
I passed by an Ethiopian place in New Orleans last week. I would kinda like to check that out.
