How do you manage passwords

Between MMOs, game sellers, email, websites, and various other things I have to keep a spread sheet to for them all. It's a pain in the arse sometimes.

I most use the same password, but varied a little bit for each login.
Think about all of the shite you have passwords for, and double it for what I have at work. I have no less than 15 - 20 different logins for programs at work.

I have 3 passwords that have different variations.
1 I use for pretty much everything that isn't very important.
1 I use for more important things such as school accts.
The last one is used for only my bank acct.
All three are model or ID numbers from old computer parts I had back in the day.

Wasn't even talking about work, I have 10-15 there, I vary my personal stuff but use the same thing for most of my work stuff.

I alternate variations of 3 base passwords. Depends on the character limit and whether or not numbers are required.

I picked a 4 letter base like "vood" and then added a four digit ending like "1234". I rotate the numbers when needed and then swap out the base once a year or so.
Like other people said I have one for secure stuff and then one for everything else.

I like the Whisper 32 freeware program. Simple, old, but works well for me.

They have several apps you can get for your smartphone that help you store and keep track of passwords.
