You've had the best team for several years mainly based off being an inaugural member and having the luck of dealing with the guy that everyone fleeced until he was booted/quit...yet you've never made moves to win it all like past winners.
There is no fundamental flaw...it's the nature of this league, you have to sell the farm to win - you win then you have to start over.

this isn't about me. though people continue to make it about me.
i hate that at the trade deadline, only 6 teams were trying to compete. that's it. the rest had given up.
yet no one thinks this is a problem.

I was tenth in the league and moved a draft pick for jj hixon...because you seemingly didn't want to make the playoffs.

how can you guys not understand that i'm trying to effect change in the league. i think it can be better. And i'm trying to effect competitive balance next year. so any changes do not effect my position this year.
i'm trying to effect these changes at a time when it's most beneficial (to me) for the rules to stay the same. as it exists now, i can sell out next year from the beginning of the year (because I'll likely lose anyway), and then i can reap the benefits of what the sellers do this year and every year.
so is it not clear, that this is not whining, but me trying to change the league for the better? to inspire competition instead of quitting and rebuilding?

I mentioned this same thing last season, can't find the thread.
Best way to make the league more competitive and cut the reward for selling out is restricting the rules around pick trading.

The alternative would be to increase the lottery in the favor of the competitors starting after next season.

Say, if you could only trade a 2nd a 4th..that's it. Everyone enters draft with 1st and 3rd so start season out compettive. Teams aren't lopsided to start season. Makes the draft more important.
