Well, for the record, my team usually hits the frick out of threes, so its just getting back to its norm,

the stupidest thing about all of these attacks on me is that i haven't even made any proposals, only opened dialogue.

my proposal is this:

I would like to reverse the draft lottery (starting AFTER next season) to reward people for competing, and weigh the draft lottery towards BEST record for high draft picks.

This would be further incentive for people to try and compete til the end.

once again, this does not benefit me. I do not have a #1 going into next year's draft. And I will most likely be in last place next season or close to it. So in the event that this rule is passed, I will not benefit. If the rules stay the same, I will have an opportunity to do what you guys have done and rebuild and sell early.

I think that with the only 1/3 of the roster turning over every year, that already represents a great equalizer for bottom feeder teams vs playoff teams. and that the jump given by sellers is more than enough to compensate and rebuild.

That is my proposal. I do not think it will ruin the league.
I do think it's the right thing to do.

frick me for trying to make the league better.

I couldn't be more against this, and I'd be the biggest theoretical beneficiary of this.

that just makes my 1st round pick more valuable to teams selling out, fwiw

This would be starting next year. As in starting based on the records accrued next year.

Or it makes you more unlikely to trade it.

And it would be the order for the entire draft would it not?

It would still be an odds based lottery.

Retard, what you should propose is that the top pick (or highest lotto %) should go to the 7th place finisher - reverse order awards for teams not making the playoffs. This might cause non playoff teams to mitigate their sell off and stay somewhat competitive throughout the year. However, I'm not a big proponent as I find nothing wrong with a league with so much upward/downward mobility.
