I agree. It's one thing to do it at 18, be successful enough to make decent money at it, then go to college.
I'm not so sure the odds are in anyone's favor to do it after college.

I played a lot of war craft and starcraft as a teen so I understood APM and micromanagement basics before getting involved in this game.
Obviously RTS and mobas are different but a lot of the same fundamentals apply. Map positioning, resource accrual, micro, cooldown management, vision, etc.
It seems so simple at first glance... oh you control a character and kill people and minions..no big deal right?
I was too hooked on WoW though to play original dota (the war craft 3 mod)
I'm 32 now and I'd say the biggest thing I struggle with is 5v5 teamfights. So much shite is going on its hard to recognize and prioritize correctly
