Here's my nexus. It fell off a roof while I was cleaning gutters and knocked it pretty good, so I just quit giving a shite about it and beat it up pretty well

Soo...since the XBONE game market is fairly dried up right now, at least with titles I'm interested in. I found myself d/ling Minecraft for my PC over the weekend.
Didn't really get a chance to play til yesterday evening. Since I'm a brainless "consoler" by nature, I kinda suck at using KBM to navigate to world of MineCraft. Doesn't help I don't have a gaming KBM. My KBM setup is ergo equipment paid for by the man I use when I work from home.
I do however have an old SCUF wired Xbox 360 controller I've used to PC game in the past.
Has anyone been able to or know how to use the 360 controller to play MineCraft of PC? Is it even possible?

Whenever I have my server back up I'll shoot you the IP for it.
As for the KB/m, you're better off learning than using the controller mainly because the mouse makes doing things much more easily. I have a gaming mouse, but I don't even have it programmed for minecraft. The only useful buttons in MC you'll need are WASD (of course), Q, E, space and f3 (or whichever one allows you to view your coordinates).

This. I pushed back against KBM as much as I could, but since it was the only option I had I learned out of necessity. After a couple weeks, it's sooooo much better than a controller. It's foreign at first using two peripherals at once (at least it was to me) but once I got the hang of it I love it. I can still use controller, but at this point I prefer KBM. I'm still not GREAT with it, but I'm competent enough to play the games I play (BL2 and some single player stuff). I'm sure I'd get wrecked on a FPS with it still, but I haven't played any since getting a pc
Oh, and fwiw, I don't have anything special. 10 yr old kbm that came with my pc in 04

If you do any major typing, they should be considered. Plus they're nearly indestructible, which is nice

Everyone who has used mine has switched to mechanical. The keys feel amazing and it makes typing long documents 10x easier.
