I have been searching all night and there doesn't seem to be one answer to that, some are and some aren't apparently. I have a few things to try out still.

wow that might be the first nzxt case I like. taking a couple design cues from fractal which isn't a bad thing. Lots of versatility. Can't wait to see some hands on vids.

To update i removed afterburner and got sapphire trixx, it appears to allow me to adjust the voltage. I won't know for sure until I start overclocking it.

Have you guys seen the rumored specs and die detail?

Basically 2x7970s on 1 silicon. Poor AMD though.. By the time this drops Maxwell will be 2months out.. And nVidia will be back on top.

AMD is a schizophrenic company. One minute they want out of the PC race to focus on mobile devices, the next they want to be a gaming company.

IF I were the CEO, Id steer my CPU research into APU (a place they basically own) and my GPU research into being the best value at each pricepoint.

They cant beat Intel in making the most powerful CPUs. They cant beat nVidia in making the most powerful video chips. They CAN beat them both in price for performance index. My goal would be to be to dominate TH's best _____ for the money every quarter.

I think AMD wanted out of CPUs but focus on integrated graphics such as APUs and GPUs.

yeah but i saw a quote a few months ago they wanted to shift to see 50%+ of revenue coming from the mobile (phone/tablet/etc) market. thats overall revenue not just processor revenue.

i think they have shifted positions, again.

Their stocks have been up lately. Things have been going well but we will see what it all means in the end. saying they want to be a "gamers company" is fairly broad so there is no telling what that means. It may mean nothing different other than they want gamers to like them so they will keep offering good game deals.

in other news, does anyone else think the crown royal-esque crushed velvet bag the SeaSonic PSUs come in is overkill?

its an electrical component, not a bottle of fricking hootch.

J

The ax1200i came in the same. I was surprised at how thick it was. Wasn't this thin piece.

You know what is overkill? That Ares II boxing!

Prior to the titan amd had the most powerful cards and best price. Im really interested to see some new developments since Nvidia is putting out a new line soon

The 770 will be noticeably better than the 7970, and be at the 7970's current price point. At the same time, bitcoin miners are going to start receiving their ASICs, driving up the hashrate and difficulty, rendering GPU miners useless, and eliminating the commodity value in AMD cards.

Yayyyy for rumors!!!!!!!!

And the 770 most likely will be even with the 680 (From what I've read in rumors), and will probably cost the same as a 7970.

I always disable ULPS in crossfire configurations but I've never felt compelled to do it with single cards.
