I fricking love it. The only reason I'm not running linux now is because I can't game on it.

I love Linux and OS X. Just harder to get programs I use on the platform or programs that are fully utilized on the platform.
Plus, gaming on Windows is a lot less glitchy than gaming on OS X/Linux.

Hopefully with all the new support that AMD and Nvidia are going to give to Linux for steam OS will change that.

Damn I hate this.. never clock for clock benches. The GK110-400 is 120MHz base/boost behind 290X's base/boost.
I'm purchasing the card, so can't wait to see how far behind if at all the GK110-400 is behind this chip. I think it will be much closer if not beat a 290X if both are locked at 1050MHz.

Well you know reviewers will oc the cards and give a better comparison. Good reviews will at least.

Yeah, that is what annoying about most of these sites.
Most early reviewers bench against base clocks. Well, nVidia always has power combustion in mind compared to AMD. They will down clock or set low factory base clocks to abide below a certain TDP.
Clock for Clock the 680 is faster than a 7970. Sorry guys, it is. You will never see that because it is always the base clocks vs base clocks. Annoying at times. Most gamers and myself always put a +50 on the core just cause, I do this for Titans just because the base/boost clocks are low. A +50 on the core really makes those things shine.. just imagine +100 to bring it up to AMD clock speeds.
Just really eats at me because most ppl wouldn't know that these benches are Base Clock vs Base Clock.

680 is a beast but also expensive. They also have to do base clock though because a lot of people don't oc. I leave mine at base because it didn't make much performance difference, mine is a factory oc'ed card though.
