Yes, because of small bus on little Kepler GK104.
Big Kepler GK110 doesnt have that issue @ 384.

The issue with PhysX has always been that it's coded for NVidia GPUs simply because NVidia paid these developers to do so, and the fact that their cards cost more than AMD is a direct result of the money they spend on this type of marketing.
Nevertheless, I have been itching to try NVidia. It would be a huge pain to sell my 7970s right now, though, only to purchase an NVidia card that doesn't perform nearly as well as two 7970s.
I wonder if anyone will want two watercooled 7970s at the end of 2014. I wish PCBs were more universal. Pretty sure these heatkiller blocks only fit reference 7970s -- and perhaps 7950s that use that 7970 PCB design.
