It took three shots to put a possum down this evening. He was creeping along in my backyard and I had to pop him.

Shot him with a 10/22 sighted in at 67 yards. First shot broke his spine. Second went in below his right eye and the third went into his skull.

True story: went play football after school one day at Highland Rd park. There was s possum on our field. You could tell he was old. I picked up a broke off tree limb - about 2' long and 3" in diameter - and chunked it at the possum to scurry him off the field. The jagged edge if the log smoked him upside his head and he rolled over. Just playing possum right? Wrong. Deader than shite and bleeding out his head.
