Walking Dead - gave it a shot, lost interest

I know it is such a popular show, but it never looked appealing to me, so I never bothered with it
however, AMC's doing the marathon, and I figured why not give it a run. I did the same with "24" and waited until 4 seasons before I watched one episode and was hooked.
Walking Dead: It was able to keep me interested up until somewhere in the beginning of Season 2....after about the 2nd or 3rd episode where they're on the farm, it dropped off with the quickness. Should I have pushed through? Or is that pretty much par for the course?

The farm did get pretty slow, but I still watch every Sunday.

Season 2 had its dull moments, but it had a lot of great ones too.
Season 3, outside of the first couple episodes, has really dropped off. The plot is kinda dragging on. Hopefully the finale ends up being great.

Season 3 is the shite.

The ending of season 2 saved me. I was about to quit on it. The 2nd half of season 3 better have the same payoff. The current half sucks after an awesome first half

whatever bruh. Season 2 was slow as hell compared to season 3 but I still dug it.

TWD is quickly going the way of Heroes

Season two gets pretty slow, but picks up at the end. Season three is okay. They really need to pick it up next season.

Second half of season two gets much better. First half of season three is really entertaining, been slow for the back end, but I think it'll end strong. The show's trouble with character motivation, and overall sometimes questionable writing, is well documented, but i still find it entertaining, look forward to it each week.

Watch Being Human season 3 (USA version) if you dig zombies. You're welcome.

I dont, cant stand them- actually I really despise the entire horror/thriller genre.
but, a good show is a good show, and I'll give anything a chance. And for a bit there, TWD was not bad despite the zombie thing. now, I'm at that .....meh point, and resolved to drop it. I was just curious if there was any merit to pushing thru what I feel has been a major dropoff in the overall story.
Apparently not

Not a big fan of zombies or other type of horror genres but have enjoyed the show. I did watch the first two and half seasons on netflix with this season being the first I have watched every week.

Agree, still better than most of the lame stuff on TV.

Stopped watching when people starting keeping their zombies penned up. Made no sense to me to do that.

I get that people eventually will still try to establish colonies and settlements and what not and that's fine.
But I always preferred the group when they were going around traveling and shite like that. They need to take it on the road again to bring the show back up. Had enough of zombie Georgia. Still a good show with a fresh premise.
