I'd like to introduce my genesis wave into her preselected lifeless space body, a moon or other dead form, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN?!?!

Is he some historical Star Trek figure? Like Khan was?

as far as actual information from the film makers, no. now, that's not stopping fans from conjecture all over the place.

Looks like they destroy the Enterprise in this one. I guess every new series of movies needs to blow it up for some reason. I can understand the first 2 series of movies because they were washing away the old and bringing in the new. This Enterprise is brand fricking new.

Kirk has a penchant for destroying multitrillion dollar pieces of equipment.

The first one was awesome, this looks great too.

Excited to see what he can do with Star Wars as well.

I'm thinking its a prequel plot to Wrath of Khan. Also if a meteror the size of a football field would devestate Earth, wouldn't a crashing Enterprise with an antimatter warp core completely wipe out most of the Western Hemisphere?

Emergency procedure would ne to eject the warp core before they entered Earth's gravity. Of course damage to the ship could prevent that.

I've never been a star trek fan but I watched the first one on a flyer and really enjoyed it.

Core is rendered inert or ejected before crashing, except when used in self destruct or in meltdown.

I was gonna add a little note about that, but I was on my phone and didn't feel like typing all of that out.

Still, a lot of people spent a lot of time making that thing.

trekmovie.com maintains it's not the Enterprise. I tend to agree, as angle of the nacelle pylons are too wide to be this Enterprise.

If anyone wants to punch me in the dick for knowing all that shite, you'd be justified...
