My annual NCAA Tourney court design rant...

I hate not flipping to a game and not knowing where they are playing. I follow my brackets geographically and the blue on black baseline isn't exactly that distinguishable.

Michigan, Michigan St play in Auburn Hills
Kansas, Kansas St. play in Kansas City
Ohio St plays in Dayton, Ohio
Louisville plays in Lexington.
That's about half the tournment. If you know who plays who in the next round you should be fine.

i looked up at my screen to test this and it took .5 seconds for me (if i didnt already) to know where they were playing

I miss the days when all the courts weren't the same and they just looked like they would during a regular season game

pretty sure every place has the same shite. arena name or whatever in blue under the basket with the logos in the corners.

And it's meh. At least where BASKETBALL is painted in the sideline below the scorers table, put the location.

Me too. It doesn't take long to figure out where games are being played, but the different courts in each arena added a bit of character.
The NCAA could at least change up the colors for each region if they want to use special tournament courts.

i also love how it says BASKETBALL on the sidelines and all over the arena
and bring back the press table banners with all the teams playing at that site showing not just the two teams playing.

Yeah the blue/black thing is almost as bad as the Roger Goodell Super Bowl logo that's exactly the same every year

Boise State with the blue, orange and white pinwheel at the top of the key was my favorite, but Cleveland State was pretty cool.

I like the simplicity and uniformity of the tournament courts. I like the black/blue.
I think it makes the courts look tidy. could care less where the hell a game is being played. they do have the host team on the corners....
