I'm now a fan of the Argentine club San Lorenzo

I know it's Lent, but this story needed to be shared, and by me

Understandably eager to milk the fact that the new leader of the Catholic church is a fan of their club, Argentine Primera Division side San Lorenzo wore a picture of Pope Francis on their kit for their match against Colon. And it coincided with a bit of divine fortune in the form of comedy defending.
San Lorenzo printed a picture of Pope Francis (or Papa Francisco) smiling and waving on the front of their shirts for the game, which remained scoreless for the first 73 minutes. But then, in a moment that could've been a minor miracle, an egregious instance of match fixing or simply just a bizarre blooper, Colon striker Ruben Ramirez headed a deflected San Lorenzo corner kick into his own net to give the Papal club of choice a 1-0 win.
San Lorenzo also created a special custom shirt that they're sending off to the Vatican for Pope Francis, complete with a halo over the club's crest (as a play on their "Saints" nickname) and his name where the sponsor would normally be.

The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was tricking tnbhoy into posting during lent.

Do you still read the site? Seems pointless to read and not post, unless trolling is what you gave up. Then that would make more sense IMO and also IMHO
