I'm gonna head to Clear Lake (CA) and try to catch something worthy of a hoist photo. They've been nailing big bass on "A" rigs...6-11 lbers.

Where are you headed?

Fishing with a worm in New Orleans; prolly won't get any bites.

Hopefully will be out on the water soon for the real deal.

Good luck! I used to fish there quite a bit. I had good luck fishing the salt river below the lake.

Been down at my camp in Dulac since yesterday bullshitting around in my kayak and drinking beer. Today I just sat on the dock and enjoyed the weather. Tomorrow is gonna be the best day to fish and I think I'll be on a boat for it.

Eta: yes I realize my bait is upside down. I was a little tipsy.
