I wish he played a little stronger. He looked like he got pushed around at times at lsu. I would like to have him because of his speed but I do worry about his strength on the field

Yea there's just something about him that worries me. He has great potential and I'd love to see him on the Saints. However, I am skeptical because I just feel he's a greater athlete than he is a football player.

I see what you're saying...but theres honestly no sure thing.
Jones has medical issues
Ansah is as raw as they come
Moore is dropping down boards like a rock
Jordan is a freak but he only had 5 sacks all of last year

Any one of these guys can be a star but any one of them can drop. I know I'm biased but I tend to lean towards SEC guys because they play against the best competition and thats why I really want either Mingo or Jones.

I was sitting next to him at superior grill last night on st charles. Said hi to him. Super nice guy. He was like 6 margaritas deep.

I was shocked at how small he is in person.. doesnt look like a nfl player

Yeah I agree with this which is why I would be happy to take him because he's just as likely to bust as any of these guys

He's a 4-3 DE, 40 probably too slow for a 3-4 OLB.

So many questions marks. Each player has a distinct drawback. I'd love Ansah since I think he could tern into an amazing rush OLB with his size, speed, and strength. But he's almost certainly not going to last til 15.

I don't want to rely on Jones' neck and Moore has apparently stunk up his interviews and the Combine.

Then you have Mingo and Jordan who both play light which concerns me (especially against the run).

A dark horse I've been hearing good things about is Cornellius "Tank" Carradine. The biggest problem with him is his ACL tear that ended his season in November against Florida. He plans to do some work at FSU's Pro Day and do all the Combine drills and a 40 run the week prior to the draft.

Moore is probably a 2nd rder unless he kills it at A&M pro day. 4.9 and 12 reps ain't gonna cut it.

With Ansah coming in at 6'7 275, I see him playing a DE spot like JPP.

And there are always question marks with every player in the draft. A lot of how a player succeeds or fails depends on the system, coaching, and how hard the player works once he gets in the NFL.

BYU had him listed at over 6'6 and before the official measurements came out NFL network had him at 6'7. Seen other places list him at 6'7 also. My bad I just checked official measurements. So he's pushing 6'6. . Still, he's 270 already and is thick. I just think he's better suited to be a DE.

And as far as Mingo goes, I think he will be just fine as a 3-4 OLB. Don't see him having the potential to be a bigger bust than Jordan, Ansah, Werner, or Moore.

I think the DL who us the least chance of being a bust is Shariff Floyd. Going to be a stud.

Yea I met KiKi's family at the Florida game. Very nice people. KiKi, to me, is like Mark Appel. They have ALL the physical tools, but the on the field productions just doesn't show it.

College production wasn't there, I agree. But, he was playing DE in a 4-3. And he did have the most QB hurries the past 2 seasons in the SEC. Put him on the edge as a 3-4 OLB and let him run in space is what he's made for. Plus, there are a lot of things done on D that doesn't show up in the stats or "production" areas. Especially for a guy on the edge. Keeping containment and turning a RB back inside to your help, taking on a block and creating a pile, chipping a RB/WR/TE on a pass play to throw off timing, making a team double team you which frees up a teammate. Those are just a few. A great D is a D where each individual player does his job and works as a unit, regardless of indivuald production and stats.

na, I don't think so. As a 3-4 LB, I think he can be = Von Miller. I come to this conclusion cause measurables are similar (and better in some stats) and honestly, Miller never popped on screen to me in college, but Mingo did. JMHO

I loves me some Mingo, but I would rather Jones. I don't know who's going to be there at 15, but I have a feeling 2 out of the 5 usual suspects (Ansah, Mingo, Jones, Jordan, Moore)will be there and it will be a choice.

I just really REALLY hope Jarvis somehow falls right into our lap
