I would of too...

A "stufy" of recent high boot decisions

The fact that Drogba got carded for that abortion of a challenge from Evans....I just don't even know.

Well Torres got sent off after getting cleats to the shin from that jackleg earlier this year sooo, what we learn is that in England when Man U fouls the other team gets booked. Except of course once they leave their FA protected bubble and have to deal with what everyone in England has to deal with against them. We see how well they take it... Haha after watching the rest of the vidoes, there are 3 instances involving Man U. Twice Man U is the one committing the fouls and the result is a no call and a yellow card for the other team. Once the foul is committed against the Man U (the least wreckless of the three) and the opposing player is sent off. So typical.

I thought the Eboue foul was worse than the Ferdinand one, but both should have been sent off. The fact that there wasn't even a penalty called on the last one is just egregious.

I don't know man look how high Ferdinand's foot is and how extended his leg is. The only thing is that he didn't make as solid of contact as Eboue but I think I might rather catch a direct boot than get raked across the stomach with cleats like Sagna did.

That was a terrible call on Nani I watched the replay and yes a yellow card was called for, but not a red in a death match in the Champions League. His eyes were on the ball the entire time.

I thought death matches had been banned by FIFA since 1926 after the Slaughter of Salzburg.

If indeed it was one of these legendary Death Matches, then I do agree, No red card even if arbeloa had died. I mean I guess you get a red if you do something to the corpse?

I will need to pull out my 1924 copy of FIFA's Rules and Regulations to confirm, but yes, I think that's right.

This is irrelevant. As mentioned earlier, the letter of the law has nothing to do with intent.

As randy stated, the letter of the law also includes sending a player off for cursing. The laws have some freedom to be interpreted and by and large, intent is included in referee decisions every mother fricking day. Come on man.

You would think that United would've learned to not attempt to get away with anymore patented "Scholes tackles."
