Park on the street for free at night. You'll love anything you choose there. If they have bread pudding tonight you should give it a try

Usually hit the apps pretty hard myself...haven't been in a while. If they have the oysters and collards app, get 2 orders.

Crab & corn gnocchi, BBQ shrimp & grits, double down pork chop, duck duo.

No need for even that. You can park at the front door on the street

Corn, crab, and brie bisque is solid, especially when you eat it with the garlic bread they give you. The Stroubes Roll is a very good app. That said, the whole menu is pretty damned good.
As for the parking pissing contest,

Wasn't really meant as such. Just sort of a point as to how sad it is, what an uphill battle any place that doesn't open in a strip mall with 300 available parking places at all times, has there.

It seems to be doing fine, along with Tsunami and Zolia (in the immediate area), every time I go. Anyone whining about the parking is a peasant who can stay at home

Here is what all I ended up trying. Had really good waiter. Had a table of 6 of us, so we split up some apps. BBQ shrimp and grits were pretty good. Some type of duck app and a egg roll wrap were blah(I'm not a duck fan). Crawfish mac and chesse side was pretty good. Asparagus risotto OK, Truffle oil potatoes really good. Entree made up for the weakness of some of the apps. Had the Cedar Salmon with Crab Cake special. Salmon was the highlight of the whole night. Overall the atmosphere was excellent and the food got a B+ grade.
