Bridge Lounge is on both, but in the top 25, he admits it and claims someone else compiled the douche list. I like Bridge Lounge, but it doesn't belong on either list.

The beer list alone is enough for Ave Pub to be on the list.

Lester have you never been to Ave Pub? they have pretty basic-sounding bar food .. burgers, sandwiches, loaded fries, crab cakes, bbq shrimp. standard fare but it's better than Bulldog, Half Moon or any of the other bars in that area that serve food.
ETA: yes the grilled cheese is baller

Frankly, I like seeing some of my favorite bars not make these "best of" lists. Fewer tourist's and douche-wagon's crowding my barstool.
