Well I wasn't expecting an OT baller adding a garage add on damn near as big as my house.

I graduated on construction management from LSU, if my numbers are off I want a refund
If every estimator with a degree in CM from LSU got a refund when they blew a bid, LSU would be broke.

Have had this happen a few times lately. Emailed a guy who was interested in getting a german shepherd when he saw pics of my pups. Emailed him all kinds of info, never heard back. So sent him a email the next day saying how I was nice enough to go out of my way to send you him all this info and to not even get a thank you for your time frick off response is pathetic.

Thank you 4LSU2 and anyone else who contributed. That was exactly the kind of information I was looking for.
Sorry guys, I am also trying to get a little work done before I head home for the day. I was planning on reading the responses when I got home, but the thread took off a little quicker than expected.

Good luck on the addition.

You know everyone was just giving you a hard time because it is so much concrete. And seriously check with ascension ready mix, they have the lowest prices I could find and have locations in baton rouge as well. If that's where you are at?
And good luck. Glad I don't have to write that check

I am getting quotes for a new house now. I got quoted $ 96 a yard. The finisher is 50 cents a sq ft

So I could build a pad for a 20x20 garage...
About 6 yds - approx $600 plus $200 for finishing? That's cheaper than I thought. Any additional costs if I frame it myself?

This is why you can afford nice things. All us loosers are playing on the OB all day while you work

Do you know how to use a transit? That will allow you to shoot the elevation and get your form boards level. The ground can look level but be several inches off from one side to another other.
