some side of the road shack in durham, nc. im a huge fan of eastern carolina style bbq, no red sauce, strictly vinegar based sauce already mixed into the pulled pork. bbq shop and central bbq in memphis are next on my list. i need to try some texas bbq.

I am a big fan of the western Carolina bbq also. You cook a whole hog, strip it down, chop it, and pour the vinegar-based sauce over top. Good stuff, when done right.


That being said, Leatha's is still my favorite. Over Central, over BBQ Shop, over Corky's and the rest. Pork ribs there are the best.
