Hammertime-The Rugged Trails on my buddy's Suburban are wearing evenly and aren't loud at all. Maybe you need to take a look at your suspension and drive train.
I changed to Goodyears and have not had any issues. The set I had dimpled pretty bad, on all 4 corners. That has been my experience with them. I would not buy another set of them. That being said, alot of people wrote bad reviews about the tires I have now.

Yup. I have seen them in the mud probably 10 times and was not impressed at all. Same with Nittos mud grapplerquote:

IIRC, my truck has 13.5" rotors. That plus the 3 or 4" of calipers adds up to something. I'm not good at math, but it is bigger than 16".quote:

Could've just gotten a bad set. Good thing about Mickey Thompson is that they warranty them to 30k I believe. I had one that just wouldn't balance and they sent me a new one for free

Oh yeah, does anyone want 3-35x12.50r20 Mickey Thompson MTZ tires. Probably have 5-8k left on a heavier truck and 10k on a smaller 1/2 ton. In BR, and don't feel like screwing with CL. Those people piss me off.

I have 20inch rims on my F150 and I'm currently running the Nitto TerraGrappler. I've really like them but I may go with the Mud or Trail Grappler for my next set. I went Terra Grappler because at the time I was driving 35 miles each way to work every day. I'm now driving less than 10 so I will probably beef up my tires a little bit. So far I've got 65,000 + miles on them and they still have pretty good tread.

Mud grapples don't pull as well as Swampers, are louder than Swampers, and have zero lateral traction. Just for looks IMHO

Mud Tires are great on pavement compared to a/t's abilities in mud

Yeah, Mud Grapps don't clean worth a crap due to their horizontal tread pattern. But I used to have a set of KM2's on an F-150, and if you're comparing them to Swampers then yeah, they don't compete. But, with that being said, they're a better all around tire IMO

I wasn't ready to go full on AT, that's why I got the ATZ. It is kind of like a hybrid(tire not car). I used to have to drive in the mud every day and the Swampers were perfect, but since I drove up to 300 miles a day, I went with a less aggressive mud tire, the MTZ. Diesels suck arse in mud anyway so it probably only helped minimally The Duratrac tires that I have ridden on seemed hard. Maybe they had the pressure up, because they were always on 3/4 and 1-ton trucks, but it was rougher than mine.

Do you have any experience with the Pro Comp Xtreme A/T's? Might be getting a 250 over the summer so I'm curious about how they hold up

Are those the new ones? I think I remember seeing someone in the RNR parking lot with them. Bigger tread blocks than normal. I have a memory like a table, but will think of who it is. Could be today, could be 4 years from now, but I will think

I'm planning on going get them from the shop. Getting SSRs if I don't have another truck yet and LTBs if I do

SSRs are very good tires. A little on the loud side but not overly bad. You could talk on the phone if you had a really loud speaker, and good sound deadening in the truck. I like to think I was the leader in the no talking while driving movement. Wet road manners were also surprisingly good. In the mud, they are just dreamy

I'd be all over that if it were for a 18" wheel

If anybody wants them, they're all yours. Just taking up space in my shed. I can probably deliver them to my front yard, but anymore than that is $50/mi. Was gonna charge $150 on CL, but still don't like messing with those people
