Bartman isn't close. Not his fault they continued to choke. Plus he's a fan. He paid money to be there. Not the other way around. Most people would probably do the same thing.

You saying Bartman is me like saying Jeffrey Maier is the reason the Os lost the ALCS. Yes he is a load his mom should have swallowed, but the Os had plenty of chances after that.

Alex Gonzalez is the forgotten Buckner. He fricked that play up so bad. Plus I know a chick that went to HS with him and said he was a douche.

Exactly. Bartman had nothing to do with it. The better team clearly won.

Yeah, I always thought that guy got waaaaaay to much blame for that. The cubs completely fell apart after that. Not his fault. A ton of people would have made the same mistake he did.

Bartman needed to have better situational awareness, but the real goat in that deal was Alex Gonzalez.
