Bartman isn't close. Not his fault they continued to choke. Plus he's a fan. He paid money to be there. Not the other way around. Most people would probably do the same thing.

Bartman needed to have better situational awareness, but the real goat in that deal was Alex Gonzalez.

The same can be said of any screw-up in sports.

It doesn't change the fact that it was a screw-up.

My nominee: Tom Osborne in the 1983's Orange Bowl/NC game Nebraska vs. Miami

All he has to do is kick an XP to tie the game, which win the national title for Nebraska.

Instead he goes for 2, fails, loses 31-30 and Miami wins the NC.

Page 7 and no mention of the Raiders drafting Jamarcus?

Another nominee that hasn't been mentioned, Earnest Byner's fumble.

Oklahoma v. Oregon 2006

Onside kick

Not only was the ball touched by Oregon before 10 yds, but #23 for Oklahoma recovers the ball at the right of the screen. Had the call been correct, even after review, Oklahoma would have killed the clock and won. Erase that loss and I think they end up in the BCSCG that season.

That said, F the Sooners!

That would've been interesting if it came down between 12-1 UF and 12-1 OU to play Ohio St in the title game.

Kafka...
I agreed 100% with going for two....

good friends of mine lost a state championship going for two(no overtime then) kick would have tied game they had ALL 3 tie breakers in their favor... coach called seniors to huddle on sidelines.. said

We are going for two and the win.. I don't want to tie in a championship....

you play to win the game.

Eric Gregg is probably still on the hit list of every Braves fan that lives within 100 miles of the Ted.
