Damn good show but:
He comes off as a petty, vindictive ex more often that not as he continuously goes out of his way to slam his former company. He really needs to get over it & move on. And this coming from myself who despises all things ESPN.

eh i like the show but they need to stop taking calls on air. i dont give a frick what the peej of new york has to say and it really messes up a good show.

Sports radio needs to eliminate 2 things 1) taking calls & 2) interviewing athletes.

SVP and Russillo is better.
Too much petty butthurt about the mothership, and I find him kinda creepy with the ladies. However, DP Show is a clear second behind SVP and Russillo.

I don't mind taking calls because it sometimes leads to hearing questions or opinions that I am thinking. But oddly enough, I 100% agree with not interviewing athletes. I almost always change the channel when one of those interview's start.

The problem is every now and then, the athlete will frick up and say something retarded that makes headlines.

they're pretty terrible... like friday when dan was out and the goobers had the whole show to themselves... pretty crappy radio, IMO.
DP is good in relatively small doses.

If it was just Dan...
It would be the best show. But with the "Danettes" it sort of ruins it a bit to me.

I don't mind callers as long as they are callers with pointed, topical questions or comments.
I hate "callers" who are really "characters" on the shows. Some of Finebaum's callers and any Jim Rome caller results in a channel change, as do all athlete interviews. Analyst interviews can be okay, but coaches and athletes are so boring and predictable.
