I coated the entire bottom of the transmission pan of a 1987 Toyota Camry with JB Weld after bottoming out hard, crinkling the pan and ripping out the drain plug when going over a "small" bump at 35mph.

Stayed like that for 3 years till I traded it in when I graduated high school.

Thanks for the post! This comes close to the amount of sealing I'll have to do over the whole boat (relatively, of course).

I like the job you did there, but roll-on bed liner would add significant weight to the boat. And I'm looking for lightweight fix.
