If you are tired of the governor....you should probably stop watching the show.

Last night's episode for one. But if you read English, you'll see that I don't think it has jumped the shark but rather expressed hope that it hasn't.

The thing I took from this episode is that Lori is still a cunt, even after she is dead.
I guess I am one of the few that like / sympathize with her (to a degree). I didn't hate her character at all.

damn, hardcore man. I mean yeah, it'd been all of an hour since they were being dragged to their execution, almost murdered by a zombie that he had to fight to the death, beaten, exposed, threatened with rape, mentally tortured. Don't know if I'd get over that while the blood was still trickling down my face.

What has happened that makes you think they've jumped the shark?
Saying a show has "jumped the shark" has jumped the shark. You can say you didn't like last night's episode because it reminded you of the things you didn't like about season two, but nothing that happened last night was a jump the shark moment.

I still fricking hate Andrea and Rick is losing it. I liked the episode though. Good start to the 2nd half

This right here. It seems like most folks disliked a lot of season two because it was too "talky" and like the first half of season three because the show finally started plowing through the plotline. I fall into that audience generally, but sometimes you need a "talky" transition episode to lead into the next coming shitstorm. There has to be some kind of characterization and motivation for the shoot 'em up and zombie headstomping or else the show is nothing but zombie gore porn.

The problem is that the actors and writers suck so when they try and do the "talky" episodes, it comes off as utterly ridiculous.

I disagree. It is quality TV comparatively.

go with what I assume is Rick's gun pointed at Merle
If you freeze that scene its not even close to Rick's Dirty Harry revolver. More like a service issue piece. Just a guess though. Service revolver held by.....merle
