What was he supposed to shrink or something?

Oden = Sam Bowie 2.0. Dude is a super bust.

Well I think they were just implying despite his chronic knee issues, teams remain interested in him due to his size. Poorly worded though

The Cavs bench isn't exactly deep so why not give him a shot

Based on what? I've never seen anything impressive about Oden, other than his height. When he was drafted #1 and people were making comparisons to Bill Russell, I laughed in their face. I won $100 from a bet with a friend that Durant would be a better pro than Oden (I know, CSB). So this isn't a new opinion. He sucks.

ETA: And the Trailblazers deserve 20 years of mediocrity for their stupidity.

Lulz

Some of you are fricking idiotic. You're basing this solely on the amount of games he's played because of knee problems he has no say over. In the 09-10 season, he was averaging 11.7 points, 8.8 boards, and 2.4 blocks a game.... in under 25 minutes a game. Yeah, the guy is fricking terrible.

Cavs have absolutely nothing to lose by doing this. These are the types of moves that rebuilding teams are supposed to make.

The guy dominated both Noah and Horford in the national championship game. Kicked their arse.

Best pure center prospect in a long time

He's what? 24? 25? And his knees are already shot to shite. He had great potential sure, but he didn't take care of his body. Then again, when you look like a 50 year old Redd Foxx when you are a junior in high school, your body is your own worst enemy.

LOOK UP. I feel for the kid and he had a bad break. BUT he hasn't done shite in the pros.He looks about 50 years old. I am not sure what that means for his future but as far as being a GREAT NBA player???? I just can't see it.

I was talking about him as a prospect coming out of college. Not now with destroyed knees.
