It would be nice for LF to get on board and be the lead recruiter for this class.

I've watched TONS of film and he is really good I mean really a cut above and likely the best RB LSU has had under Les easily AD is a bit of a stretch but I'll compare to a few I think heis closer to TJ Yeldon - They are very similar, TJ is a bit more elusive where LF is a LOT more physical style runner but they are close since both are similar body styles, but TJ is a more elusive shifty type and LF is more balanced with as much power as balance and that's what is impressive is his ridiculous balance but there's a reason for that which I'll get to. Trent Richardson - The differences with Trich lie in his physical style, he is easily the most physical runner the SEC has seen in a whilebut the thing that set Trich apart was his balance and cutting ability which is what LF also has given his running stance which is what helps him make his cuts. LF has the same wide stance he runs with. Trent was a much more physical runner because of his freak athleticismand as far as speed goes LF is faster. Since it was asked I'll also briefly mention Bama's recent EE Derrick Henry. He is also a freak athlete but a lot different running style, almost straight up like sprinter lol but no doubt about it he's faster and bigger (6'3 245 ran a 4.42 at the opening over the Summer) that is why we are excited ha ha LF is a monster no doubt hope this helps

once in a lifetime player
I'll defend this. I started watching football because of Herschel Walker. I started following LSU the same year looking for OUR Herschel Walker. That's what got me into recruiting. For an extremely brief moment with each of these, I dreamt Garry James, Dalton Hilliard, Harvey Williams, Kevin Faulk, Cecil Collins, Justin Vincent, Michael Ford, and Kenny Hilliard could become our "SEC Legend" candidate. Sadly, I'm still looking. So, IF Fournette comes to LSU & IF he translates his HS skills to CFB, then yes, he's once in a lifetime player. #KeepTheDreamAlive

Please don't compare LF to Blue. Don't tell me he is soft as inside runner like Blue? Blue is very injury prone when it comes to running inside. I am hoping Fournette is much tougher than Blue. He is definitely bigger than Blue and built more like Hill.

This kid is the best rb prospect in the country. And its not farfetched to compare him to ap. Will he get to that level who knows. He looked s e c ready as a jr. les miles commented about how bad he wanted lf a 2014 kid during a press conf about this yrs class. He himself said he was a talent that you don't see every year. The lsu coaches feel he has potential to be on ap's level

Wow! Exactly the opposite. LF is much better than Trent at this point. Now, TR developed very nicely in college and has a very complete game. But if LF develops well in college he'll be much better than TR - and not even close.

I've seen him play 3 times (all his junior year). He looks like Terrell Davis 2.0
Give him that Denver line, and Les Miles could look like Terrell Davis. Seriously, TD is the worse back mentioned in this thread other than Bush and McKnight. He was an average NFL starting RB, and was a product of that line. Every back who ran behind that line put up all-pro numbers.

Love Faulk, but don't go there, bowtie. It's not even close. In college all eleven defenders on every play were keying on Hershel. The Vikings traded half their team to the Cowboys for Hershel.

Who is AD? I can't think of any NFL back with those initials, but about 10 people are referring to AD like he's the greatest of all time. Is this AP getting autocorrected?

They are 2 totally diff backs penrod so it's hard to say but I'm pretty confident in saying LE was right as was I, the thing about Trent's HS film was he went to Escambia HS which is pretty much like a bad neighborhood (great amenities thanks to Emmitt Smith donations) and his OL was the ABSOLUTE WORST I have ever seen in 15 or so yrs watching prospects. He still led the state of Fla in rushing, he literally had 2 guys on his back almost at the snap every play. LF runs behind a very good OL now he's good bit don't also lose sight of the fact that Trent was a once in a decade player at RB as well

Hershel Walker was a physical beast, a RB with LB size and DB/WR speed. His only drawback, which caught up to him somewhat in the NFL was a lack of elusiveness and vision. Not necessarily comparing Faulk to him, just saying Faulk is an SEC all time great as well. Just because he wasn't the first of his kind like Walker doesn't diminish his accomplishments. Heck, Cecil would have been another. Oh and Faulk > Richardson, easily.
