Not really half assed. I grew up in New Orleans, my parents weren't particularly LSU fans until I got to HS and started really thinking about going there. We always cheered for LSU but it was in passing. When I got to LSU I was 110% in:road trips, camping for student tickets in Saban's 2nd year, etc. But as I get older and older, it gets harder to get as upset/be as passionate about 18 -22 year old kids losing games and 17 year old recruits causing a circus, etc. I will always go back to my first love.

Length on season and # of games is a factor. If they make a run in the playoffs you are looking at possible October-May every season.
