I like cam a lot. His biggest challenge, and the key to his success, will lie with his ability to recruit quality qbs.
This has been jimbo's strength, crowton's downfall, and appears to have been a strength of krags. Will hate to lose krags for this one reason. For the first time since r.p., lsu will have a good balance of qb's that can play. 1 sr, 1 rso, and 2 frosh. (all with ability).
If cam can recruit qb's, this is a homerun/slam dunk. it's the most important position on the field and the key to any successful offense. He should be able recruit someone by telling them he's developed drew breese, phillip rivers, and joe flacco.

Wait, would we def lose Krags? I'd love to see him stay on as QB coach. I know CC can coach QBs as well, but would be nice to have someone dedicated to it.
CC + Krags would be a very tempting draw for recruiting top-flight QBs.

If this happens, I don't think he will be here long enough for recruiting to impact his performance. His successor maybe, but not him. I would be surprised if he is here 5 years.

Some of our biggest donors are LSU and McNeese supporters.
Ever heard of the Lawton Room?
And I usually think opposite of the board in general. I find his low post count more credible. And I also know his info is line with that of others.

I was just thinking that. But i think that is about as long as Les will be here. Maybe groom him for the HC job after Les retires.

Ill believe Les will give him full control when I see it. If true, it will significantly help our offense. Guess im in the minority in that i think the play design and choice of plays was more the problem. Under Crowton and under Studthorpe. I doubt they are both terrible at it, so Miles is the common link. It falls on him.

It seems to me like Miles had to wait until his nonstop recruiting schedule was over to have some contract discussions with Cam and Alleva. Now that signing day has passed, it looks like it could happen fairly soon IMO.
