Paypal isn't the ticking time bomb, it's eBay's overzealous buyer protection.
I live through Paypal and pay for everything with it

But if eBay sides with the buyer, paypal will, too.
I agree that paypal is excellent for buyers.

I use a cc for every thing, dispute and you are good imo

Most people do. Buyer unhappy, disputes CC charge, paypal takes money back from seller.

Someone posted a link to extreme 6s on micro center for near 100. 180 for the 3570k is reasonable, but the 3770s are starting to drop into the 230 dollar region. Also, ncix was selling 670s for 230 a little while ago, granted they were PNY brand. I think u might could get 500, but a package deal at 450 would sell super fast.

I mentioned it in a thread the other day. They were supposedly sold out but I found 2 stashed behind some extreme 4s

Microcenters prices are never factored when deciding how much a part is worth.
You have taxes, gas, etc to those prices, and they are only instore deals

I'm not. I'm just trying to get rid of some old inventory. I'd like to make enough to get a 680.

How do you know its coming out on the 18th? I have seen no where that has a specific date. And I've seen the price could be anywhere from $899 to $1299 (been reading closer to $1299).
I've also read that it will be voltage locked, so OC'ing will be minimal. If the price is over $1200, I'd go with the Asus Ares II over it

If its a 680 u want those parts will sell for enough to get one.
1299 for a GPU holy shite. I will stick with my 670 for a while

I think I wanna go 680. Can't make up my mind between that and a 670.

If you cant afford the 680, go with the 7970. Same performance as the 680, but a card could be had for $360

I haven't had good luck with AMD cards. I want the 680 I just can't decide if the price gap between it and the 670 is worth it.
Posted on 2/7/13 at 3:43 pm to Srbtiger06
What was the last AMD card you had?
Posted on 2/7/13 at 3:47 pm to bluebarracuda
I had a 7770 in one build and a 6670 in another. Had lots of stuttering issues and other little problems here and there. The 660 ti has been great.
Its not a knock on amd, I just have had shitty luck with them.

I had shitty luck with my 7950. I like AMD but just think Nvidia is a better GPU.

Look up a 670FTW edition. Pretty sure that's what I am rolling with.

I've had a 680 and a 7970. I think 7970s are a far better value than a 680 (and I think they're better in general, they OC like crazy).
You just bought the 7950 at a bad time. They just put out new drivers in early january (6th) that really boosted it.

Have two EVGA 680 Classifieds in SLI. Love them.
