Thinking about trying Capedeville for a burger. Any reviews? Grand Isle and Gordon Bierche are also on my radar. Looking to stay downtown.

I got a Bacon and blue burger at Capdeville, didn't really stand out.

I'd consider Luke and GB over Grand Isle.

I've been reading some good pub for Mojo Lounge recently. Never tried it though. In the mood to be a guinea pig?

Luke interests me. And I think there's a happy hour.

Luke burger is great, and there is a happy hour oyster special. I went to Luke last week, but actually didn't get the burger, because I've gotten it every other time I've been.

I've heard good things about Capdeville, but haven't been.

Never been to Luke, is there a bar I can eat at?

Yeah, you can sit at the bar itself, if it's not full. Or just in the bar area. If you're alone, they have small tables, and actually newspaper to read if you want it.

I don't like hyperbole, but they really are some of the best I've had.

I have had burgers at Capdeville a couple of times and was not impressed.

Luke does have a very good burger, but it's $16.50. I have had it a few times so I guess it's worth it, but it just seems wrong that a burger costs nearly $20.

Yea... $16.50 is pushing it. I'm thinking capedeville or GB.
