Jon Ham simply expressed the opinion that maybe America is an imperialistic, hegemonic bully and we shouldn't still be in Afghanistan 10+ years after we went in. A bunch of posters then brought up 9/11 and got damn America and then it devolved from there.
Personally, his comments didn't offend me at all. There may even be some truth in them
