The inclusions of Torres, Davis, Edu, Castillo and Evans make me nervous. Good to see Chandler, though.

hopefully, none of the above see the field. Torres MAY play, but I'd be shocked if the other 4 even warmed up.

Was it Evans or Davis that started out at LM against Canada?

Davis. Evans started as the offensive "point" in the midfield and ended up at RB.

So who provides width in the MF with this roster other than Zusi?

In Jurgens mind Danny Williams.

Davis is a left winger. Does Sacha play outside? Looking at past Jurgen games. It would be more likely to see GAM or Torres. Hell didn't Williams play outside one game? ETA Gideon beat me too it . I'd say put Dempsey out there and lef Fabian fill the void when he drifts in.

Bingo, I think it will be Johnson out wide on the left, and Zusi on the right. Hopefully, Dempsey plays more as a CAM or as a removed forward. We've been looking for a player to fill that role for years, and it's where he's been playing for Tottenham.

I could stomach that line-up. As long as Jones stays out of Bradley's way.

Replace Gomez with Eddie (for speed) and flip Deuce/Eddie and I'm on board with that. Freeing up Bradley (and Dempsey) to push offense and feed Jozy and Eddie is probably our best bet.

Altidore in, Gomez out. That was what I was thinking.

I'd prefer Altidore, as would almost all of the fans, but Jurgen has never shown to prefer Altidore

------------------- Howard ---------------- Chandler---Cameron--Boca----Fabian -------Jones/Williams-Bradley------------ Zusi-----------Dempsey--------------GAM -----------------Altidore-------------------- I honestly think this is our best bet. While I would like to move Bradley forward, due to what he can offer us on offense, I think we need someone who can help Jones move it out of the back a little. Bradley has moved forward in the attack in the past from that defensive position. He should be box to box anyway since he's so good on both sides of the ball. Dempsey is best playing in the middle, although he could play in GAM's position out wide. GAM has shown reasonably well in that position lately, so I'm ok with keeping him there for a speed option since Gatt wasn't called up. I REALLY wish Gatt and Feilhaber had been called up for this one. Both would be great as late subs.

Agreed. Williams can be a sub for Jones. I also wish Gatt and Benny were on the roster for subs.

This fan prefers Gomez's hustle over Altidore's hang out and wait for the ball.
