With all the new "49er/Raven fans" I see it got me thinking. I have been a fan of certain teams for shite more than 2 decades. I love when i wear my colors today I get called bandwagon by people that have no clue.

I have a 49er jacket from when I was 13 yrs old.
Dog name Niner
Cat Named Jerry

MOst of my passwords are jersey numbers of my favorite niner players.

I've been a Niners fan since 1987... and this is my favorite personnel group in those 25 years. More specifically I think Justin Smith may very well be the best "football player" on the squad and possibly the best in the league.

grew up a huge 49ers fan (in Atlanta) back when they played every year I'd always go to the 49ers falcons games. Still have a 49ers throw on a couch in the home office and a 49ers jacket that gets pulled out during cold weather.

When I moved to Alabama I quit watching the NFL for a good 6-7 years and only watched college football. My brother is a huge falcons fan and got me back in to the NFL watching the falcons. That said, with the recent success of the 49ers, I refuse to pull out any of my old gear or say anything about liking them since I don't really consider myself a fan of them anymore.

I'm an LSU fan, that's all. I like the Saints and pull for them, but I'm not emotionally invested. I halfheartedly follow the Cardinals, but again, not emotionally invested. Besides that, I pull for whatever team has the most LSU players.

I'm a huge Ohio State football fan. Not as diehard with basketball, but I still enjoy watching their games. I probably own around 30 Ohio state shirts, polos, jerseys in total and get made fun of by family because I'm always wearing Ohio State something. I also named my dog after a Buckeye great.

Skins, caps and wiz all have basically sucked basically my whole life but have stuck by them through and through

Caps get good = every caps fan is a bandwagon fan who is clueless about hockey which is hilarious coming from a Pens fan.

RG3 comes to town now Skins fans are just RG3 fans which is hilarious, since we are fan base that shows up and travels to see our team even though we have sucked basically since 1993.

miami hurricanes. saw them get beat in the sugar bowl against alabama and have pulled for them ever since. i actually think it started because some a-hole (probably didn't refer to him as an a-hole at that age) was an alabama fan.

I'm a huge fan of a lot of teams, even though I've only followed many for just a few years. I've been a bama fan forever, but I'm only emotionally invested in football and basketball. I became a Red Wings fan in 2009. I try to go to one game a year when they play Nashville. Became both a Liverpool and SKC fan last season. I've jumped in with both feet with the wings, pool, and SKC. The only reason I would trade change my fandom would be if there were to be a MLS or NHL team in Alabama. The only team I pull for half-heartedly is Borissia Monchengladbach.

I'm from Baltimore and root for the Ravens, but my true love is the Baltimore Colts and I've never truly forgiven the NFL. I like the Ravens more than any NFL team, and I love that they've embraced the "villain" label. I've been to many games and froze my arse off at the 2001 playoff game against Denver. But if the Ravens lose, I don't much worry about it.

Born and raised in atlanta, went to school in atlanta, currently live in atlanta, live and breathe all teams atlanta.

The only team that doesn't really add up is the Blackhawks. I have gotten really into them the last 5 or so years.
