i somehow missed the episode where nick broke up with Olivia munn. i dvr it so i dont know what happened.
I think that having nick and jess hookup will ruin the show.

Thought this too. Just hope they never have them date. Could cause some major issues with the show.
And I agree, Jess is getting hotter, but I think it has a lot to do with what she was/wasn't wearing last night

Meh. I don't see it that way. It's been more of a slow build than an unrequited love thing.
Plus Nick is infinitely more likeable than douchebag Ross. I don't remember enough about Rachel as a character to comment on her, so I assume she was just a bland person with hard nipples and a popular haircut.

Rachel was a self involved biznatch and Ross was a judgmental cry baby. They deserved each other.
Nick and Jess are way more likeable than those two.

I think that I enjoy New Girl more overall, but Modern Family is close. Their Godfather montage in the episode last week was better than anything New Girl has ever done

They have a real nice heart to heart moment and start to kind of understand each other in a way that makes you think it could work. Cut to the next scene and its Nick just going "Oh she left me and took all my shite. Oh well"
